Pregnancy & Postpartum

The stages of fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are often filled with heightened emotion, preparation, and major life changes. While people often prioritize seeking out the best care for their physical needs and spend many hours learning and preparing themselves for birth and parenting, they often neglect to invest as much time in their mental health during this major change.

Getting support during fertility, adoption, pregnancy, loss, birth, trauma, and postpartum may be right for you if you find yourself:

●      Navigating feelings of depression, anxiety, or rage

●      Wanting to prepare proactively for the postpartum/parenting experience

●      Not feeling like yourself

●       Not connecting with your partner after a major change

●      Figuring out how to adapt to your many roles (parent, employee, partner, self)

●      Having a hard time prioritizing yourself

●      Feeling exhausted, depleted, and unable to cope

●      Wanting a supportive space for yourself each week

●      Coping with a traumatic event or loss

How can therapy help with pregnancy and postpartum?

We strongly believe any parent would benefit from prioritizing their mental health and taking time to care for their whole self each week. With the right support, we believe that you can do more than “survive” this season.
