Ages 14+, Mindset Coaching · Faith Integration · Athletes/Performers · Young Adult Issues · Inner Child Work

Michelle is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Counseling at Southern Methodist University and is an intern at Mend Counseling, under the supervision of Morton Nixon, LPC. Originally from Connecticut, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fairfield University. Michelle also completed Strategic Intervention Life Coach training through Tony Robbins and Cloé Madanes’ Core 100 certification program. She has experience providing mindset coaching for women struggling with body image and self-limiting beliefs in a private online fitness and nutrition business.

Michelle firmly believes in the philosophy: change your mindset, change your life. She is passionate about empowering clients to recognize their innate capacity for growth and transformation. By addressing negative beliefs often rooted in adverse childhood experiences, Michelle helps clients break free from unhelpful patterns of thinking and feeling that contribute to depression, anxiety, and other challenges. Her goal as a therapist is to cultivate a supportive, accepting, and collaborative environment where clients feel valued and heard. Together, they explore past experiences, identify maladaptive patterns, and create empowering narratives that foster healing and growth.

Her clinical focus is on teens and adults aged 14 and older facing mindset and mental health challenges. As a former ballerina, Michelle has a special interest in supporting performers and athletes navigating burnout and identity beyond their sport. She also integrates faith-based practices for clients who find spirituality meaningful in their healing journey. Her approach is insight-oriented, empathetic, and often infused with humor to encourage growth and fulfillment.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys dance classes, walking the Katy Trail, watching the Dallas Mavericks, exploring Dallas’ restaurant scene, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Michelle is supervised by Morton Nixon, MS, LPC.
