Rachel Gaspar is passionate about helping others develop and maintain secure, meaningful relationships. She holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Rachel pairs systemic thinking and deep, emotional heart to guide her clients towards insights and corrective emotional experiences. Rachel gained experience in a diverse array of settings including behavioral health, university clinic and private practice.
Rachel specializes in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy
(EFCT), using a humanistic, attachment lens to uncover ingrained cycles that get to the root of our universal needs to be seen, loved and feel that we belong. Rachel is working toward certification in EFT through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) as she continues to hone her craft and provide effective therapy to her clients. Rachel is attuned to complex family of origin dynamics, such as divorce, and approaches them with curiosity and compassion. Rachel works collaboratively to empower her clients towards a liberated sense of self and connectedness with others.
Outside of her therapy work, Rachel enjoys group fitness classes, discovering new TV shows, long walks with friends and heart-to-hearts over a good meal or coffee.
